Oh My Gosh...Where has the year gone?

I just can't believe it's been a year since my last Blog post here on the website?! I have been so busy with my day job, wedding planning and of course my Bake Shoppe! I finally have caught a break from the regular 9-5 (for a little while) and I'm able to focus on some admin work here at the Shoppe and get all the last minute details together for my wedding that is in less than 2 months.

Some of you may know that this year Meltaway Sweets & Bake Shoppe also debuted at our local 3 French Hens Market that takes place the 2nd Saturday of every month here in downtown Morris, IL. I have focused on my Jumbo Decorated Sugar Cookies and chosen new designs for each month. It has been quite a success despite some rainy weather days. Thank you to each and every one of you who have dropped by and supported the booth. I will continue the Cookie Booth in September and then take off October for my destination wedding & honeymoon. 8-) I have to add a special thank you to my fiancé, James who made my cookie booth design a mobile reality! How cool did this turn out to be?!?

I have had an amazing summer filled with wedding cakes, cookies and lots of NEW clients. My little Bake Shoppe is growing and I couldn't be happier.
